Pottery Workshop
What is it?
In this safe and creative environment clients are able to express their inner artist and relieve stress through working with clay; this is perfect as a team building activity. Through learning basic hand building techniques participants will create their own masterpieces that will remind them of this positive experience for years to come.

All ages and abilities (An ideal team building activity for corporations, businesses and agency support staff)

Flexible and adaptable. No other arts studios in the region offers this unique one hour group pottery workshop. Our focus is to build upon the team work of your staff while providing a fun and safe space to develop individual self esteem through playing and creating with clay.

What is it?
Participants are able to express and release emotions (silliness, sadness, joy and anger) through the creation of music and sound. We provide drums and other musical instruments.

How Long?
One hour sessions (sessions available for single workshop, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly)
What’s different?
Our drumming program differs from other similar program available in the community. We are flexible and adaptable to your participants needs. We provide all of the instruments and the freedom to be loud in making music and noise. Past participants have found this workshop to be a wonderful workshop that is freeing and healing. Great for those who are less verbal.

Group Pottery and Drumming Workshop
What is it?
The best of both worlds, participants will have the opportunity to work create two clay masterpiece as well as the chance to play with drums and other musical instruments in a group musical activity.

This popular workshop allows for maximum fun and enjoyment with a minimal time commitment. Story Drum Making Workshop
What is it?
This drum making workshop will allow people to tell their stories
and to have their story come alive. Participants create partnerships
where they learn and improve on cooperative, communicative, and
trust skillsets. Each participant creates a drum for their self or their
partner that can be taken home and used to further explore
the world of expression through drumming.

behavioural issues in the classroom)

Meditation Ocean Drum Workshop
What is it?
This workshop focuses on lessening the stress, anxiety, and frustration
in daily life. Through the creation of an ocean drum we will explore
and work towards a sense of inner peace, decorating the drums with
images specific to an individual’s own concept of serenity and
relaxation.
Who is it for?
Ages 12 and up (to help schools support some of their core curriculum and address behavioural issues in the classroom) AND an ideal team building activity for corporations, businesses, agency support staff and clients
How long?
4 Hours (this can be covered in one day or broken up over several)

unique workshop. Our focus is to build up team work, self esteem,
and self expression while providing a fun and safe environment.
We will explore concepts of wellness and inner peace and how
they affect our lives and relationships. The Ocean drum can help
with better sleep, anger management, and overall well-being.

Primitive Sawdust Firing Workshop
What is it?
All ages and abilities(A fun and educational workshop for schools) Or (A team building activity for corporations)
How Long? 3 Hours
What’s different?
The only arts studio that offers this primitive firing workshop in the Waterloo Region. Held in the outdoor patio area of the Muddy Music Centre this workshop is a chance to create beautiful fired pottery pieces and spend some time enjoying mother nature.
Cost: $200 (studio only) + 7.00/person for pottery
